High quality and detailing in every inch are time consuming. The reproduction of Abraham Hendrickz van Beyeren also needs time to dry in order to be completely ready for shipping, as this is crucial to not be damaged during transportation.
Based on the size, level of detail and complexity we need 8-9 weeks to complete the process.

In case the delivery date needs to be extended in time, or we are overloaded with requests, there will be an email sent to you sharing the new timelines of production and delivery.

TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting Still Life with Fish is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

We offer free shipping as well as paid express transportation services.

After adding your artwork to the shopping cart, you will be able to check the delivery price using the Estimate Shipping and Tax tool.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Looking at Abraham Hendrickz van Beyeren's "Still Life with Fish," it’s clear this is not your everyday, delicate little still life. This painting practically reeks of salt and the sea - you can almost smell it. The fish, laid out in abundance, aren’t pristine or prettified, but rather raw, gritty, and unapologetically real. There’s a basket stuffed with mackerel and other sea creatures, some spilling out, others twisted in awkward poses as if freshly hauled from a fishing boat. A crab claws its way into the corner, a sneaky guest at this feast of aquatic life.

Van Beyeren bathes his composition in deep, murky browns and greens, the color palette creating a sense of dusk or a dimly lit kitchen. The fish themselves, though silvery and pale, reflect the light in such a way that you almost see the glisten of moisture still clinging to their scales. The cuts of the fish - the reds of raw flesh peeking through - add an unexpected pop of color, almost jarring against the otherwise earthy tones. It’s a subtle hint of life, or at least, life recently ended.

The composition, too, is wild. There’s no neat arrangement or formal balance here - it’s chaotic, brimming with textures and movement. The pottery in the background might try to offer some stability, but the real energy is in the haphazard pile of fish. You sense that van Beyeren wasn’t interested in elegance, but in giving us a glimpse of something raw and honest, like a snapshot of a kitchen mid-prep. This isn’t a painting to admire for its beauty - it’s one to confront for its truth.
