TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting The Beach at Trouville is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

We offer free shipping as well as paid express transportation services.

After adding your artwork to the shopping cart, you will be able to check the delivery price using the Estimate Shipping and Tax tool.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

In "The Beach at Trouville" (1870), Claude Monet doesn’t just hand us a lazy day at the seaside - he delivers an experience that feels as fleeting and momentary as a gust of wind. Two women sit side by side in the foreground, yet their connection seems nonchalant, almost indifferent. The woman on the left shields herself from the sun with a brilliant blue parasol, its shade softening her features into a half-dreamy state. Her companion, hidden under the shadow of a black bonnet, seems more absorbed in reading, her face lost in shadow - a study in contrast with the more relaxed elegance beside her.

The color palette is quintessentially Monet: luminous, filled with light and air. Look at the whites of the woman's dress - it’s not just white; it's a symphony of soft blues and grays, a play of shadow and reflection. The sky? It's brushed with rapid strokes of creamy whites and pale blues, indicating clouds on the move, stirring above the blurred suggestions of distant bathers and umbrellas on the beach. Everything feels like it’s trembling under the sun’s heat.

As for technique, the brushstrokes are loose and spontaneous - Monet’s hand was quick, capturing not details but impressions. This is plein air painting at its best. The beach isn’t portrayed with precision but with a sense of immediacy, as if you can almost feel the breeze that might've blown the women’s hats askew. The painting is casual, informal, yet that very effortlessness reveals Monet’s genius. He’s giving us a moment, one that will pass too quickly, much like a summer’s day by the sea.
