We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting Spring is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Petrov-Vodkin’s "Spring," painted in 1935, feels like a strange, almost dreamlike suspension in time. The two central figures - a man and a woman - sit atop a hillside, isolated yet deeply connected to the landscape that swirls and bends around them. Their poses are casual but composed, as if the moment were both spontaneous and entirely deliberate. The woman’s blue dress catches the eye immediately, its boldness drawing us in, while the man’s yellow vest strikes a sharp contrast against the softer, more muted tones of the background.

What stands out most is the sense of perspective. The land below doesn’t simply recede into the distance, but instead curves, almost warps, as if we’re viewing it through a lens that bends reality. Petrov-Vodkin’s use of this elevated, near-fisheye view gives the painting a sense of grandeur, but also intimacy. We are both up high with them, sharing in this quiet moment, and yet the entire world below - with its tiny houses, winding roads, and miniature trees - becomes part of the conversation. There’s a playfulness here, a gentle distortion of space that feels intentional, almost philosophical.

His color palette is rich yet restrained, avoiding the flashy in favor of something more contemplative. The deep blue of the woman’s dress, the earthy green of the land, the bright splash of red from her hat, discarded carelessly beside her - each color has its place, its purpose. The technique is delicate, with smooth, controlled brushstrokes that allow the painting to feel both solid and fluid at once. There’s a surreal calm that pervades the entire composition, a sense that these figures are not just sitting on a hill, but on the edge of something much larger - perhaps the future, or maybe even eternity itself.
