Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Camille Pissarro’s “Poplars, Éragny,” from 1895, feels like a quiet exhalation, a soft pause in nature’s symphony. What strikes you first is the density of green - almost dizzying in its lushness. The trees rise, casually commanding the canvas, their leaves vibrating in different shades, from deep forest greens to those gentle, bright tips catching the light. The sky above them is subtle, dappled with light clouds.

Pissarro, ever the master of rural tranquility, employs his signature Pointillist touch here, though he doesn’t allow the technique to overwhelm. His brushstrokes create a texture that feels almost tactile - you could imagine reaching out and feeling the rough bark of the trees or the softness of the grasses swaying lazily at the base. Every leaf, every patch of wild grass, seems to dance to its own rhythm, yet harmonizes within the overall composition.

The composition, at first glance, seems casual - just trees and greenery, right? But look closer, and it’s anything but. There’s a slight slope to the land, leading your eye toward the small figure in the background. A human presence, dwarfed by nature. Pissarro plays with perspective, making the man - or woman, it’s hard to tell from the distance - almost vanish into the landscape, a reminder of nature’s dominance over us all.

The painting is awash in an earthy palette, but Pissarro’s real magic is in how the light filters through. The patches of sunlit grass feel almost gold, shimmering against the richer greens. It’s a painting that beckons you to breathe slower, to take in the world as Pissarro himself must have - with patience, reverence, and a quiet awe.
