High quality and detailing in every inch are time consuming. The reproduction of Raffaello Sanzio Raphael also needs time to dry in order to be completely ready for shipping, as this is crucial to not be damaged during transportation.
Based on the size, level of detail and complexity we need 8-9 weeks to complete the process.
In case the delivery date needs to be extended in time, or we are overloaded with requests, there will be an email sent to you sharing the new timelines of production and delivery.
TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.
We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.
You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Nothing is known of how Raphael was commissioned to do this outstanding work. A letter of Summonte, in 1524, indicates that it was then in the chapel of the del Doce or del Duca family in St. Domenico, Naples. It is reasonable to think that it was conceived as an ex-voto for the cure of an eye malady, as is suggested by the presence of Tobias, who is being presented to the Virgin by the Archangel Raphael, and of St. Jerome. Raphael composed the group with a knowledge of curvilinear rhythms that recall the disposition of the figures around the arches in St. Maria della Pace (1514). The figures, however, appear exalted, purified in their reverent approach to the solemn, somewhat cold-looking Virgin, who leaves the principal role to the Child, seen in the act of grasping at the sacred book from which St. Jerome raises his eyes, and leaning affectionately towards the group of the angel and Tobias. The work is not considered to be entirely by the master's hand. Taking into account its less than excellent state of preservation, it is still an outstanding example of the formal and refined "prose" that Raphael knew how to compose during the years in which he created the Stanza of the Fire in the Borgo (1514-16).
