High quality and detailing in every inch are time consuming. The reproduction of Anthony Frederick Augustus Sandys also needs time to dry in order to be completely ready for shipping, as this is crucial to not be damaged during transportation.
Based on the size, level of detail and complexity we need 8-9 weeks to complete the process.

In case the delivery date needs to be extended in time, or we are overloaded with requests, there will be an email sent to you sharing the new timelines of production and delivery.

TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting Oriana is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

We offer free shipping as well as paid express transportation services.

After adding your artwork to the shopping cart, you will be able to check the delivery price using the Estimate Shipping and Tax tool.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

"Oriana" by Anthony Frederick Augustus Sandys. This 1861 painting is quite the sight - a striking profile portrait that just oozes Pre-Raphaelite vibes.

The first thing that hits you is that intense side view. Our subject's got this sharp, defined nose and these full, pouty lips. Her skin's all rosy - cheeks flushed like she's just had a bit of a run. And those curls! They're wild and free, framing her face and tumbling down her neck. There's a little red headband peeking through, adding a pop of color.

Sandys really went to town with the details here. The golden fabric draped over her shoulder is a knockout - you can almost feel the texture. It's got this intricate pattern that must've been a pain to paint. The blue and gold clash in the best way possible, creating this royal vibe.

Now, the background - that's where things get interesting. We've got this misty, dreamlike landscape. There's a castle perched on a hill, all hazy and mysterious. It's like Sandys is hinting at some grand story we're not quite privy to.

The composition is tight - Oriana's face takes up most of the canvas, drawing you right in. But that sliver of background adds depth, keeping things from feeling claustrophobic. The colors are rich and warm, with lots of golds and reds playing off that cool blue sky.

Technique-wise, Sandys is showing off. The skin tones are smooth and lifelike, while the fabric and hair have this incredible texture. It's the kind of painting that makes you want to reach out and touch it!
