TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting The Sower at Sunset is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

We offer free shipping as well as paid express transportation services.

After adding your artwork to the shopping cart, you will be able to check the delivery price using the Estimate Shipping and Tax tool.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Van Gogh’s "The Sower at Sunset" captures a world aflame with color and movement. Here, we find a solitary figure casting seeds into the earth, a gesture as old as time itself. The figure, dark and almost spectral, is in stark contrast to the vibrant landscape around him - as though he’s a part of the land and yet somehow apart from it, absorbed in a rhythm as steady as his gait. The tree, its trunk angled sharply, seems to lean into the scene, guiding our eyes toward the vast, brilliant sun that dominates the canvas.

This sun - a round, glowing orb - hangs low in the sky, impossibly large and impossibly close. Its buttery yellow seems to radiate outwards, warming the field with a golden light that floods the scene. This isn’t a subtle sunset, but one alive with color: deep purples and lavenders fill the fields, intersected by rough, almost hurried brushstrokes that suggest rows of crops, each stroke echoing the sower’s movements. The fields stretch into the distance, leading us to a horizon where the sky meets the earth with an otherworldly glow.

Van Gogh’s brushwork is quick and insistent, creating a sense of movement that makes the scene feel almost as if it’s breathing. He uses thick, unblended strokes to build up textures, letting each brushstroke speak for itself, as though every mark on the canvas has its own voice. The tree, rendered in dark browns and blacks, grounds the scene, its branches reaching up toward the sky like fingers grasping for light. Meanwhile, the sky - a mix of greens and yellows - feels electric, pulsing with the promise of nightfall.

The composition draws us in, from the small, dark figure of the sower to the immense sun that frames him. Van Gogh balances the scene with contrasting colors - yellows against purples, greens against blacks - creating a harmony that’s both jarring and strangely comforting. It’s a painting that speaks to cycles, to the endless rhythms of nature, and to the quiet, steady work that keeps the world turning. In "The Sower at Sunset," Van Gogh has painted not just a scene, but a feeling - a moment suspended between day and night, labor and rest, solitude and connection.
