We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting Still Life with Flowers is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Jan Davidsz de Heem’s "Still Life with Flowers" is a vibrant symphony of nature, a masterpiece of controlled chaos, where each petal, leaf, and insect plays its part in a dizzying dance of color and texture. The flowers spill out of the glass vase, as if they can't be contained, their stems curling and twisting in all directions, defying the stiffness we might expect. The reds, purples, and pinks demand attention - the bold tulips with their streaked petals standing tall, while the delicate peonies practically burst with texture. And just when you think it's all about the florals, he slips in tiny surprises - a snail crawling lazily on the table and the husk of corn, throwing the natural abundance into sharp contrast with the decay of time.

De Heem doesn't just paint flowers; he paints light, air, and shadow. There’s an almost tactile quality to the way he layers his colors. The dark background swallows the edges, pulling the flowers forward into a striking spotlight. It’s like they're floating in space, each one perfectly lit. Every flower, from the drooping poppies to the curled leaves, is meticulously detailed, almost exaggerated in its beauty. There’s nothing static here - it’s a living, breathing arrangement, caught in a brief, perfect moment.

The composition - unruly yet calculated - teeters on the edge of opulence and decay. It reflects the transience of beauty, reminding us that even the most vibrant life withers in time. De Heem's touch is delicate yet unapologetically rich, capturing both the vitality and vulnerability of nature in a single bouquet.
