TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting Garland of Flowers and Fruits is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

We offer free shipping as well as paid express transportation services.

After adding your artwork to the shopping cart, you will be able to check the delivery price using the Estimate Shipping and Tax tool.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

In "Garland of Flowers and Fruits" by Jan Davidsz de Heem, the senses are assaulted by an explosion of natural abundance - a chaotic yet carefully orchestrated symphony of fruits, flowers, and leaves tumbling across the canvas. Here we see a master of Baroque still life flexing his painterly muscles, as though to say, "Let me show you just how luxuriant nature can be."

The composition feels almost overwhelming in its intricacy, like a botanical fever dream. Grapes, cherries, peaches, and plums burst forth in various stages of ripeness, their skins gleaming with a tactility so vivid, you can almost feel their sticky sweetness under your fingertips. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, clusters of flowers - delicate roses, peonies, and tulips - wind their way through the fruits, draping the painting in a lush floral veil. Notice how the petals are rendered with a softness that nearly contrasts with the robust, juicy fruits. It’s this contrast - delicate and abundant, fragile and ripe - that pulls you deeper into the image.

De Heem’s color palette is rich, naturally, but tempered by shadows. Deep, almost velvety reds and oranges anchor the painting while softer pastels offer a kind of visual respite amidst all that vibrancy. The blue ribbons that punctuate the corners provide a touch of coolness, calming the riot of warm hues. What’s more fascinating is his treatment of light - not harsh, but glowing, as though everything in the painting is lit by a soft, golden dusk.

The technique is meticulous, yet it allows for the disorder of nature to spill over. The fruits and flowers aren't arranged in a perfect garland - instead, they seem to tumble out of the frame, inviting you into their world, daring you to get lost in their dizzying splendor. This isn’t just a painting; it’s an ode to nature in all her wild, uncontained glory.
