High quality and detailing in every inch are time consuming. The reproduction of Rogier van der Weyden also needs time to dry in order to be completely ready for shipping, as this is crucial to not be damaged during transportation.
Based on the size, level of detail and complexity we need 8-9 weeks to complete the process.

In case the delivery date needs to be extended in time, or we are overloaded with requests, there will be an email sent to you sharing the new timelines of production and delivery.

TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting Visitation of Mary is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

We offer free shipping as well as paid express transportation services.

After adding your artwork to the shopping cart, you will be able to check the delivery price using the Estimate Shipping and Tax tool.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Rogier van der Weyden’s "Visitation of Mary" radiates a profound sense of quiet intensity. You can almost hear the silence between the two figures - Mary and her cousin Elizabeth - standing at the edge of a delicate landscape, a few wisps of trees in the background, reaching skyward. The scene is about as far from grandiose as one can get, but that’s precisely what makes it gripping. There’s a stillness that feels almost fragile.

Look at the color balance here. Mary, cloaked in a deep, almost mystical blue, stands out as though she's a serene night sky wrapped in cloth, contrasting with Elizabeth’s crimson robe, which flows with a quiet vibrancy. Van der Weyden’s colors are far from passive - the juxtaposition of blue and red practically hums with unspoken meaning. That deep red is life, age, and experience; the blue, purity, introspection, the unfathomable mystery of the divine.

Technically, this is a marvel of Northern Renaissance precision. Every fold of the fabric is sharp, almost impossibly so. Van der Weyden’s brushwork meticulously carves out the texture of the robes, while the expressions are carefully nuanced. Elizabeth’s face is lined with wisdom, her hand gently reaching out as if both supporting and blessing Mary, while Mary’s expression is placid, almost otherworldly.

The composition, though simple, is beautifully structured - the figures occupying the foreground in a diagonal that pulls your eye from the top of the painting down to the earth beneath their feet. Meanwhile, the background architecture and landscape don’t clamor for attention but rather provide a soft, almost dreamlike setting. It’s a perfectly tuned scene - nothing out of place, everything speaking softly yet profoundly.
